Region: 100% Five Ashes Vineyard, Margaret River.
Colour: Hamelin Bay`s 2003 Chardonnay shows a pale straw yellow hue.
Bouquet: Aromas of wet slate and citrus mineral are complemented by hints of pear, butterscotch and a mealy nuttiness.
Palate: The palate is a medium to full weight with upfront to middle orientation, which will extend into the back palate with maturity. The oak shows more restraint than previous years, giving a seamless structure.
