Region: 100% Five Ashes Vineyard, Margaret River.
Colour: The colour is straw green.
Bouquet: The fresh nose exhibits pungent, kiwi fruit, lychee, and lemongrass with hints of passionfruit.
Palate: Elegant and restrained, courtesy of the cooler 2005 vintage, the wine has excellent mid palate weight and is delicate with crisp acidity. The partial barrel fermentation completes this wine with excellent length of flavour layering the chalky minerality for which Hamelin Bay’s wines have become known.
