Region: 100% Five Ashes Vineyard, Margaret River.
Colour: Hamelin Bay`s 2001 CABERNET SAUVIGNON has brilliant clarity with medium intensity, ruby red centre and a pink red hue.
Bouquet: Aromas exhibit classic Margaret River Cabernet characters of mint, chocolate and cigar box all blending harmoniously with dusty French oak.
Palate: The palate is elegantly structured with sweet voluminous fruit and an obvious slippery tannic finish drawing the drinker back for more.

Vintage Characteristics: Warm dry vintage.
Vinification: Fermented in stainless steel static fermenters and left on skins for 15 to 36 days post fermentation.
Cellaring Potential: Suggested best 2003 to 2006;
Oak Treatment: 100% matured in French oak, 40% new for 15 months
Serving Suggestion: Enjoy with roast turkey or mushroom risotto.
